Introducing “Hearts Uncanny: Tales of the Unquiet Spirit”!
Dear Faithful Readers,
On Oct 1, I released my second collection of short stories, Hearts Uncanny. From the feedback I’m getting so far, readers find it very engrossing! If you’re a fan of well-paced, tightly-plotted-yet-character-driven science fiction, this book is for you. Even non-sci fi readers tell me that this is the kind of science fiction they can get into, while those steeped in the genre appreciate the book’s classic sci-feel feel and absorbing stories. To get a sense of the flavor of these thirteen, varied tales, think Ray Bradbury, Philip K. Dick, or Kurt Vonnegut (but without the politics). Shows like The Outer Limits, Black Mirror, The Twilight Zone, and movies like Blade Runner capture some of the feel of Hearts Uncanny. If you’re a fan of short, cerebral sci-fi with a lot of heart and plenty of intrigue, check out Hearts Uncanny!
Want a sneak peek? I’ve posted a few excerpts on my fiction page!
***Content Note: Hearts Uncanny is intended for an audience mature enough to read such works like Love in the Ruins (Walker Percy), 1984, Brave New World, or Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?***
